Hi, when i try to run RF via LazyBan it won´t let me connect to any Server, it always says check your internet connection. I have this tool now for 2 days, and i wonder why it worked fine on the first day I installed it. My version is updated to 1.20. So i guess this is not the problem, i already tried to DELETE and re-Install LazyBan3.0, 1.3, 1.2.. but it just does not work. So what could be the reason? Anyone ever had the same Problem?

I am only partly familiar with the PC version of RF, but I do have lazyban 1.2 on it.

The only thing I can think of that could cause this problem is perhaps a modified tables.vpp or ui.vpp? Thus lazyban is preventing you from connecting to the servers?

Yes, exactly. I did not change any of these files....How can it work a day before... and then causing that troubles?

Well this is beyond my experience with lazyban.

At this point all I can recommend is replacing the RF.exe with this default one from Red Faction View: RF.exe.

Then, perhaps retry patching it with the lazyban 1.2 and then 1.3 if you wish to. I am fairly certain that one has to install 1.2 before 1.3, or at least I think so.

Unless someone else can offer some advice?

There is nothing wrong with the normal exe file from RF. The problem is that i can not connect with LazyBan... Thank you for your advise...
.. maybe.. a mac is the solution

Nice of you to say a MAC is the solution, however there is no lazyban for the MAC version of RF.

My only hope for you at this point is that someone from somewhere will come forward with the solution any moment now.

It's probably your firewall that is preventing this from connecting to the Internet. You have to give it access.

I have no idea - it is hard to help people especially if I can't see what is happening on their monitor / screen.
