hey i was just wondering is there away to get the Silenced model for Multi player (Silenced Pistol) i have just got new silencer sounds & new Skin for the Silencer and i would like to use the Silenced pistol in multiplayer as i don't like the Normal Pistol with out silencer
Is this possible to have Silenced pistol for Multi |

I'm not sure you can have both.. Silenced and normal in MP.. Or at least nobody seems to have worked out how to get the default handgun silencer working...But If you make a full conversion mod or something.. you could create / model the handgun weapon and silencer from scratch yourself.. then It is most deffinately possible ..you could have animations for screwing it/ unscrewing it.. But It would only "work" (I beleive) when the weapon is as a silencer in MP.. .. |

Ninja, the problem is not playing an animation to put on the scilencer (which is also a problem, as the system doesnt know how to do it in multi) but the problem is having RF spawn a pawn to act as the acual scilencer. |

I was simply offering a fairly simple alternative, Which you didn't even think to reply to that idea..
Incase my previous post was hard to interpret.. Well I mean just add new weapon entry which is always permanently a silenced pistol.. THere would be no reason why that wouldn't work.. |

And just to clarify that, it would require an entire new weapon model, you cant just use the pistols. |

I tried this ages ago and I think it worked , change the $Class Name: " 12mm Handgun" to $Class Name: "Silenced 12mm Handgun" in Table files , *note* this will only work client side. But then again it may not work at all if goober says it wont?  |

Yeah like itch was saying you can have the effect but only you would see it. So, I guess a modders question to you would be, "do you want it even if only you can see it?"
Then your question to a modder may be, "would you make it for me?" |

No i don't want the Animation of putting on the Silencer i just want it to be like a client side Weapon mod (like redfrogs weapons)

So how many people have Redfrogs client side weapons???? only you can see them
All i want is the silencer model to go along with Silent sounds 
i have made alot of skins that only i can see (but i have posted em on l4y some i havnt, ones like me in RF) i also have a new Skin for the Silencer and Pistol if you guys want i could release it  |

There's no reason you couldn't substitute the pistol's model, texture and sound set with the silenced pistol's. In fact, I think it'd be pretty easy; as ITCH said "change the $Class Name: '12mm Handgun' to $Class Name: "Silenced 12mm Handgun" in Table files" |

Refusing to help people? Its not possible... As far as i know, the scilencer pistol is not a new model, but just a pawn on the end of the pistol model... |
