Tried a few years ago to port my models from my mac(strata) to my pc(max) with not very good results. I think you *might* be able to do it using a 3rd party, like d/l a demo of a 3d program that supports both .s3d and max files. Cinema4D used to do that I believe. Could be wrong though! That is of course assuming the newer max's and strata's arn't compatable, I'm not sure they can import/export each others files.
