There is an issue with the map that Mars Wars uses to do an intro (I think its called NvidiaIntro.ut2 ). It seems as if there is something corrupt about that map ... without it loading properly the game will not start.
Me and goob talked to spikey the other day because he had this problem as well, we ended up fixing it by simply giving spikey a new copy of the starting map ... and it worked .
When you made the intro map did you just take the old map and deleted the stuff inside it just leaving the black cube? If you did im thinking that it is the problem and the intro map needs to be replaced with a completely new one ...
It seems to have problems when its transferred ... the more the map is transferred around the less likely it is to work
but that could be just me
why is it that everyone keeps blaming stuff on the OS immediately?
