Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the 54Mbps just your wireless connection rating/max speed to your hub (or whatever you call it).
That aside, can't think why you'd be waiting in slot 1 for that long unless all the people who were downloading were getting big files on slow connections? |

Yeah, the queue length is determined by the connection of the people ahead of you. And for future reference, the 54Mbps rate is only your local connection, it has nothing to do with your net connection. |

If your net is faster than your wireless conn, why not get a better card?
1/1 Just means that you're at the head of the queue waiting for those of us who have mere 8Mbps connections (me) to finish downloading. Though old has no queue |

hes using a wireless g card as far as i know they dont go beyond 54 mb/s
the next card up would be a 100+ dollar wirless N card..
and did you think it might be the download manager your using right there? i was under the impression that many didnt work with l4y
not to mention the fact that your already downloading 100 mbs worth of other files.. |

Download managers are stated to not work here because a few didn't in the past so rather than say we support them... we say it doesn't
The free accounts here should be limited to one connection @ 75Kb/sec anyway so doubling up connections shouldn't be possible. Gold accounts have no connection limits and no speed limits (beyond what your connection allows anyway).
If you're waiting a long time its either because there are a bunch of people at the front of the queue downloading very slowly or very large files. It may well also have been a L4YGold user downloading files as they skip the queue to the front pushing free accounts down the queue behind them.
Either way, you got the file. The queue did its job |

You'll find you can use practically any card you'd usually be able to use within a store. Doesn't need to be a credit card, debit cards work as well.
PayPal will tell you what the conversion is when you try and pay - I know it does that for £GBP so I'm assuming it does it for other currencies as well. |
