I wish I could play still... But my computer is incompatible with the game. I think it has something to do with my video cards.
I can't map either because of this *cough cough* |

Have you tried using this:
Pure Faction 3.0 Full

Yes sir, I just separated in January. I'm looking at colleges now for game development.
I still can't play RF even with PF. My computer has something wrong with it that causes it to freeze randomly when doing anything with full-screen graphics. RF, Portal, etc., they all randomly freeze. Even if I maximize my YouTube videos the computer has a chance of freezing. It's such a minor problem though (since I don't play PC games much at the moment) that I'm too lazy to find out what the problem is.

Do you still have the Dual GeForce 9600 GT graphics card in your system, as your profile states, or is it out of date?
Are you running Windows XP Professional in 32 Bit? |

I just updated my profile since I've been "away" for so long. All info should be accurate.
I have two 9600s but I currently have SLI deactivated. Win XP Pro 32 bit. |

If it were overheating it would restart rather than freeze. |

This may sound stupid, but the panel you are using as your screen, does it support 75hz+
Sounds very redundant, but I had a CRT that only did 60hz and in games it would cause the entire system to just freeze. This was a long while back, but once grabbing a CRT capable of 75Hz+ no more freezing with it set to 75. |

What a very informative post.
Bartalon, btw, welcome back. Been quite a while if I recall correctly. That avatar is what caught my attention when seeing your returning post. As mentioned in my post above this eunuch above this post, try testing your setup on another screen, be it LCD/LED/CRT.
Try checking out the latest beta drivers from nVidia also. |

I'm using a 32" HDTV so I don't think that would be an issue but I'm not particularly hardware savvy.

Yes, it has been quite a while, and thank you. I'll be starting a degree in Game Art & Animation soon. Right down my alley, don't you think? |
