Did the online HD space craete the rar file or did you do it on your own comp? Some online HD providers have the feature of zipping or rar'ing files. That's why I ask. If you've then downloaded that rar file and tried to extract files on your comp, you need to make sure your version of winrar is up to date. I recently had a similar problem with an old version of winrar that kept saying my file was corrupt. When I upgraded, all was fine. WinRAR may have had a major update in their formatting since then. Good thing they offer downloads of previous versions as well. All I can tell you is to progressively download earlier and earlier versions and attempt to extract. Perhaps you'll have a spot of luck. My YouTube     Spikey2005   Posted 3rd Mar 2007 11:12am L4Y Member Post 459 / 2126 There could be a slight chance that when you uploaded it, there could of been an error there while uploading and some of the data uploaded has gone missing. Also, what the other guys said is true too, Winrar gets updated and new versions of the rar'ing system is made. Try and gain a copy of the previous version you used to rar the file and see if it works. So there were no upload errors. My YouTube     DARTH JOKER   Posted 3rd Mar 2007 8:12pm L4Y Member Post 258 / 467 after a little research (google) i was able to extrat the data regardless of the CRC error, however it does apear as though the .vpp is corrupt. fortantly i can open the vpp and extract the tables. so at lest i will not have to compleatly rebuild the vpp from scratch. P.S. this is probly going to turn around and bit me in the butt.... I plain on releasing my mod to two mounth's after a little polishing, optimizing and bug testing. the mod will be released AS IS. and maby if enough people like where i was going with most if the idea i might go bake and actuly Finish the mod.
