In other exciting news, Elvis Presley and Buddy Holly have decided to make a come back.
Buddy Holly was quoted as saying, "Yeah, the King and I decided it was time to come out of hiding. We want to make an album together."

You know what, if it keeps the master tracker up longer. I say go ahead make another one. I'll buy it. Red Faction was not as good as the classic Red Faction. Not enough Geo-mod and no multiplayer online either, which was the biggest disappointment for me. 
I bought the game(RF2) in hopes that they would release a patch that would allow online game playing but that never happened. In fact I am still waiting for the dang patch.  
I just hope that if there is a come back that:
1. Red Faction 3 has online multiplayer. 
2. That it's thin Elvis that returns, fat Elvis would just die again from a massive heart attack. 
Speaking of massive heart attacks, now I'm craving a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with banana slices in the middle.  |

A remastering of the franchise would really make sense for THQ since it is their own property. If this comes to fruition, I doubt we'd have to worry about not having multiplayer. Especially if it's brought to the 360, xblive would be a given.
If they focused, they could have a franchise as strong as Unreal Tournament, easily. |

Its rehashing old discussions, but I really hope they at least make RF3 related to the original... if indeed they do make it.
What would be REALLY great is if they actually took the time to ask those who still support RF what it is that makes it so appealing and what should RF3 learn from it. Dang it all, just get them to fly us all there to talk to the development team in person!  |

If THQ doesn't acknowledge the game tracker - why would they a consider RF3?
Has THQ even told Volition to work on RF3?
Or is Red Faction 3 a Red Herring 3? |

So the official release says a new Red Faction game... hmmm... well the gaming industry isn't quite as reliable as some so I'm just going to take it in my usual relaxed and sensible way.

It would be a very good move for THQ to make a new RF3... It could be one of the Unannounced titles theyre always talking about... 
If this ever does come to fruition, i hope it has the following:
Multiplayer (net and LAN)
A level editor much like RED
Based off of the good RF and not the crappy RFII
Includes Geomod (obviously) |

Volition have a Unannounced game for release in 2008 for the ps3,Xbox360 so who knows maybe its RF3  |

well being that what i'v stated many times now. "my thirey is that thay are giveing false hope so that every one will forget about RF and then out of now where flood the stores with RF3" or somthing to that effect. however being that the official word is a new RF game and new neccessarly an continuing of the RF series. i would rather them make a re-imagin-ing of RF like thay did with doom3 (it was a re-imagin-ing of the original doom series) i mean who really want to blow hold in the terain of vinus or was it saturn? and isn't that stroy line sapos to be like20 years after RF2 anyway?
P.S. does anyone have any news on the pixal / poligon breaking system that lucas arts is working on for the new indi game? |
