Looks good. You might want to introduce hotkeys when you first use them such as the "r" for rotating, other then that nice work. |

Looks good goober, it might be a little too quick for beginners but they can always slow it down by pausing it. |

Well Goober I have to say you've done a great job with that tut, Only 1 thing I can say is that I have to agree with NCF , it could be a bit confusing for beginner's . But all in all Good Job !! And I mean it! |

Wow, I never thought you would ever create something I actually like but you succeeded this time. Its I nice tutorial and i prefer video tutorials above any other form of tutorials. So It could be a good idea if your going to create some more.
I don't think its really going to fast bacause you always have the option to press the pause button, but however I do think it could be helpfull to quicly explain the short keys in the beginning of the video, or maybe just make a video tutorial about the short keys
did you know BTW, you can use the [ and ] keys to quickly change grid size, i find that easier than clicking with the mouse each time.
And last but not least isn't there a cleaner way, to make those pipes with slightly less faces? (I don't have RED on the computer I'm behind now, so i can't test it) but how about creating a cylinder and bend it, i mean as a whole, and than extrude the faces on the side for the straight parts? |

Yea, you can do that, but if you bend as a whole then all your verticies go off the grid, and if you grid allign them, you get those extra 1/2 faces again
Just easier this way... Of course, the more sides your cylinder has, the more faces you will be creating when you extrude
I acually did not know about the grid size hotkeys, them seem useful, but it would probably slow me down too much trying to change now.... Thanks for the tip though, ill include it in a later tutorial |
