I have used the clip tool before in RED but do you think I can getting it working now? NO SIR! Clearly I've been away too long or I was kicked in the head by a mule or something. Somebody please remind me how that swine clip tool works. I have tried tutorials at various places including those at Red Tech but they have not helped. I don't know what you want to do but it's probably much more complicated than i can imagine. well, here we go. create a solide brush. calculate. select the brush. click the clip bouton. click in the top, front or left view to place 2 points. between the 2 points, a line appears. Chose if you want the brush to be cut or just split with the line as an axis; by clicking on split or cut brush. The reverse normal button is used to chose which half of your brush will be deleted if you cut it. spoilsport     Kiliad   Posted 21st Jan 2007 3:33am L4Y Member Post 320 / 672 HA!!! I don't know how I got that idea in my head... although there's certainly enough room in there for it LOL. RED is pretty much the stepping stone into the world of 3d... The really frustrating thing was that none of the tutorials I checked out had the basic information that molodiets provided. I'm sure there are some out there that do but could I find them? Nope!
