Hello there people.

Ive seen many images in my time of having a computer, some of which are other people's boring desktops.
So today, in this post, im going to show you something more amazing that I have never seen before.

For those who have "Windows Vista" please ignore this post.

I have did alot of searching on the internet and looked at nice screen shots of Windows Vista, so I sat and thought, why not turn my desktop to look like Windows Vista... So I did...

Here is a screen shot of what my desktop USE to look like.

Its shabby aint it? I must admit, the blue bar looks different because I installed something called Royale_Theme which made it look nice.

This is what my desktop looks like now after installing a Windows Vista theme for XP.

This is the new Windows Vista theme which is currently made for Windows XP and it looks great!
There are alot of new features added with this too, for example, When you double click any Icon on your computer, the icon flash's up at you then goes back to normal. Sub Menu's have been slightly made Transparant and many more!

If you wish to have some more information about how to do this successfully, please post a reply here or PM about it, I would be more than Happy to help anyone out to make their desktop look really nice as this using Windows XP.

And to put a little extra additive, I even searched for the Windows Vista sounds too!

Well, I shall do the searching for you lol .

Ok First off, go to this link and download the "Pack_Vista_Inspirat_1.1"
Install everything on the installtion by checking all the tick boxes on setup.
http://files.filefront.com/Pack%20Vista%20Inspirat%2011exe/;4091150;;/fileinfo.html

If you wish to go that one step further and get the Vista sounds, go to this link.

http://themes.belchfire.net/index.php?download=5212
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and look for a button that says "I Agree, Download Now".

Make sure you back up your C:WindowsMedia folder before you install these sounds! If you don't, you will be stuck with Vista sounds until the next time you re-install XP.

Do you like the new feature with the Icons when you double click them and they pop out at you? I like that, but thats mainly ripped from Apple I think... I havent seen Windows Vista properly yet..

Heh, this looks like a Windows Vista Beta visual style.

You can get the Windows Vista RTM visual style somewhere, I saw it on a theme site, can't remember where.

I got to admit, it does look exactly the same as Windows XP, the whole layout, but I think Microsoft probley cheated and made Vista using the XP layout and changed a few things on how it works.

But still, i think it looks really good.

I've got Windows Vista Business if you're interested in taking a closer look through screenshots and whatnot. And no, mine's not the beta or a pre-release, it's the full version.
