Many Red Faction fans download extra file that can sometimes alter wrong file that prevent the patch installation or let RF partially updated. If you have installed HUD modification in the past and you experience problem running Xmod, remove them! Is also important to see a success confirmation at the end of the 1.20 patch! *Reinstall the game can be a quick easy solution for people that don't know how Red Faction file works or experience an unknown problem.
