LazyBan 1.2 allows the use of Myth, that should tell you enough right there. Stick with 1.3. This is why you shouldn't game on a mac, it just makes more trouble >_<
steveands, I wouldn't say it's only the sound files that are keeping you away from ISM or Hive. May be something else, like a different table class than the Mac version of the game uses maybe. |

The use of layzban 1.3 will not stop all modders as one might think.
All you need to as many cheats have done before is to have mouse drivers that assign more than one click to the mouse button. Then you have a fast click cheat mod running in 1.3.
RF does not check mouse driver mods or the use of third party apps that allow this.
Those that want to cheat will still cheat no matter what version you use. |

Yes, but 1.3 prevents cheats. You say 3rd party apps, like what comes with a Logitech MX518. Or even LogiGamer profile.
Point is, that is not cheating/hacking/modding... It is simply binding buttons for a process. I'll bet you that I can drum as fast as you can click with you using multiple buttons. But really, that is not where I am trying to get to. Myth has got to be one of the CHEAPEST of all for cheating, and with that eliminated, it helps to keep those using it OUT of the game. |

Is sad to say this for MAC user, but at this moment Red Faction - Xmod will stay with the anti-cheat patch LazyBan130! I hope to join SubZ to make it MAC/Linux compatible in future. Sorry, I can't let cheaters annoy any Xmod member.

There seems to be no xmod servers running any way. Or any other mod servers for that matter. There is one always in the list but with no players! Lets hope it does better than those b4 it. e.g. ISM, Hive, Reddoom. These mods were pretty awesome but there seems to be no servers running these mods on a regular basis. I'd Hate 2 c all this work go to waste! |

It's why I say it's a challenge, but Xmod just release and we are in Christmas vacation... I will do my best to regroup all RF Geo fans. I plan to open another section in Xmod CDC to let player talk each other to create and join Xmod online match event. I will probably also make a email list of everyone that have interest in the mod and reply them each time I plan to make a match on the official server. We need more optimism and try regrouping everyone to succeed to keep the community alive.

1- Red Faction - Xmod Installer is an .exe or maybe a zip file that NoClanFrank make.
2- This is not normal, and I would like to know what happen to my Installer!  It has a chance that the transfer or L4Y .exe issues had corrupt the file... I wait for NoClanFrank confirmation to be sure all thing work well!

Yeah, you can see some new reply in RF-Xmod Big News about why the file don’t have extension before today, January 1.
If your file doesn’t have an extension, just add at the end of the file name, .exe, let the name like it was.
