In the Micro of my room, I found a little problem.
When I move far away from the posters in my room they looks like this:

They look oke when I come close to them:

Anyone any idea how i can fix this? |

Are the pictures a decal or are they textured brushes?
If they are textured brushes, have you tried makes the box/brush thicker?
If they are decals, have you tried making the decal box thicker? |

They are all brushes, and I just noticed that the back board of the bed is also breaking up.
And no I haven't tryed making them thicker yet, because I actually don't want to make them any thicker, but if i have no other option than I guess I'll have to, altho the back board of the bed is pretty thick. |

I'd make those posters into Air brush.. That way you won't get the layer behind it coming through it. |

is that suppose to be an MC Escher poster on the wall, or just a cheap copy? |

Hmmm,
normaly RED saves every 2 minutes... so maybe it is stupid to tell you, because u already know, but I had some breakdowns here as well and just went back to the "2minute"-saving,
which is stored as rfl-file as well.
U can find in your usermaps/multi-folder as eg.: "DM-MyMap~.rfl".
Just the same name with this sign: ~ behind the name
There u should be able to start again, don´t you?! Good luck. |

all custom textures? we must share brushwork secrets sometime
pm me! |
Is it me your calling infernus? Infernus is someone else you know ? And it are mainly costum texures, that probabbly also why the vvp was allready over 20 MB
@ Jan_the_mean
Thanx that your trying to help me, but trust me I allready knew about that and this topic isn't about RED breaking down but about the brushes that seem to fall apart. |

@mosterman: Oh CENSORED - I knew it
But the thing that always worked 4 me with ur problem is:
Make a solid brush, that is used as a frame; make a tiny smaller air-brush, that cuts the solid one to place your image on the created space...
in fact I have no doubt if it works, but 4 me it worked all the time...
(and indeed I sometimes use custom textures )
PS: I like your Escher-poster a lot. It gave me a good idea 4 another weired SP-level... u´ll find out about that

Well if you get the map working again try making the posters into keyframes, because on my first desk map my pictures on the wall wern't keyframes and they did that and on my second one they were and didn't do that. |

Is the brush very thin eg. 0,01 meters?
If yes and it is close to the wall, so that it hits the wall with half of its body, than RED makes these things as well... |
