Hi community,
im back in RF, found the fun in mapping back 
first, sorry for my english. I try my best
Im building on a map at the moment. I have now a Bug if i play the map online or singel player - i cant shot with my weapon. There are just the effect (light). I think i know this bug when you have to long brushes? But i dont have "very" long brushes, i dont know how the bug happens. Did i reached a Limit in RED? Map works good, but you cant shot. No errors in RED.

im not a expert in RED i dont know how i can fix this bug. I dont want delete brushes, but i can modifie it or something. dont know

I think that not being able to shoot you guy happens when you are outside of the map, at least in multi player it does. |

thanks for your answers 
i deleted the last build room, testen and shooting works. now i build ~100 brushes air & solid. No bug, shooting works. i placed ~50 lights to this brushes. Shooting Works. I added ~50 bolt enmitters & ~50 Targets - Map Crash! I dont know if that is the bug. Got this message:

Delete the Bolts & Targest, map works good. 
I think i used to much details with bolts.. thanks for your answers, i will test more. |

i haven't ever seen a bug in a map where you cannot shoot in the level ...
too bad that i couldn't of popped up in a deathrun like map where it is needed ... |

I had the same problem with my Darkrun map.

I also couldn't shoot, before I removed some things.
I removed some "is detail" brushes and some other brushes and then it worked.. Or at least it works untill 6 or more players are in the map.
My beleif is that the problem is caused by too many seperate textures.. To explain it better I mean using 10 textures in total is better than using 100, because Darkrun did use alot of different textures.. thats one of the only thing I can think of which could make this happen.
Another thing could be the ammount of clutter objects or movers.. and lighting too maybe even the music could be triggering this problem throughout this series of unforunate events.
So then I'm sorry I can't help, This problem is indeed very mysterious.. I hope my German is okay |

@Slayer7.666 i dont know exactly what you want say me but thanks very much for your ideas 
the bug was as i testet the bolts and triggers. I deltedet the last bolts i created and the map works. Now i must reduce and delete some bolts
i think this error on the screen is a standard error - all errors shows this message.

i tested today online with my friend, he gots much times the same error after 8:40min. It was a bug in music events, i edit it and it works now.
Now i hope there will be no more errors im not happy about that i must delete some bolts

REALLY?!?!? I CANT WAIT! Man i really cant wait for deathrun4! Take a look at the other run maps that have been relesed just to gain ideas and stuff too! Dont copy ideas exactally, but insted take ideas and merge them! |

My upcoming map is getting pretty big and close to finished now.. But I just continously create more sections... The newest section I create are usually the ones I'm more happy with too.. So I go back and delete older sections.
I think the reason I don't simply rush the map for a quick but interesting release is because I've been working on it for such a long time that I have the perfect style and everything for this 1 map.
It's a new style to Darkrun I'm quite pleased to announce that 1 of it's best features is the size of the overall level..I have managed to make the entire level look very detailed and rocky looking.. But yet I'm using no more of RED limits than If I was creating a box map.. So I'm able to create infinite ammounts of highly modified shapes (which seem higher detailed than they actually are) I'm sure this run will be so massive that you won't be able to finish this map as quick... And while my 1st Darkrun was really hard and frustrated especially to new players.. My new upcoming Darkrun2 is friendly for new players.

There is one screenshot.. But there is around 100 other rooms.
So as happy as I am with the progress and style of the map, makes it more worth my time to work on.
Hint: Biggest new obstacle in Darkrun2 map is the Downhill challenges.. Imagine having to run down a track (60 % downhill ) The player runs twice as fast and sometimes loses control completely Also not quite as intense challenge is the uphill sections which are like hill climbing.
The level also includes some friendly AI which are the bats, I haven't tested the finished map with the 500 bats that I hope to have in the map.. But I hope it works.. |

I like your style how you create rooms/maps. Its different to my.
I already tested a (very? old) version of darkrun2 with ninja. That what i see you cant find this in my maps. You will only find this in ninjas maps. 
I hope we can play your map soon.

i have a fast new question, how can i create a looping music in RED for multiplayer? but first there must be a other music.
->Map Loading: Music 1 Playing
after Music 1: Music 2 Playing and looping
can this works?

yea it can, shall i set up a simple level to show you??
I couldnt wait for a response, so i made this 
Song 1, is the first, Song 2 is the second, Song 3 is the third. Keep in mind that Song 2 and Song 3 can be the same song.

I always use "Music_Stop" events after the delay after the "Delay event for the length of the songs. I just find it works better. But i dont think you have to 
What this will do is when the level starts, play the first song, then play the second, and the third. When the third is done, it will play second, third, second, third... ect... in a continous loop
