Well, the 1GB RAM is more than enough, same with cpu speed, vid card, and sound card... What exactly isn't working? Does it launch the game, then crash while ingame?!

Please be a bit more detailed.

P.S.
That vid card is worth replacing.

Hmm well I run Nvidia Riva TNT2 (Model 64) which is 32mb graphics card and It's good nuff to run Red Faction..

You want to either try new or previous versions of DirectX, You also may want to try doing the same for your graphics card.

You need to let us know what kind of trouble you are having.
In the mean time, try this.

I had that skipping when I played the game it was for one reason and one reason alone...Compatibility Mode. Instead of explaining how to do it, which I am sure you already know how. Here is the link to how to do it.

Run Older Programs on Windows XP

If you don't want to read everything, scroll down to this section:
"Set Compatibility Properties Manually" to get to this screenshot.

Hmmn... Well some more information would be appreciated and it has been said many times before that if you want to find a fix to your problem you need to include more info

I got RF working on a really POS PC 64MB RAM, 16MB nVidia Model 64 Pro. 400MHz CPU.

There may be some incompatibility beteen RF and your operating system. If you're using a trial version of winows Vista for example it may not work. Although you haven't specified I am assuming that your're using XP pro or home.

Have you tried re-installing RF after uninstall? Also again be sure you check out www.ju CENSORED ckinggoogleit.com

Also if you get an error try searching it up on www.ju CENSORED ckinggoogleit.com

As I'm sure you must know if you've played this game before that people don't feel very friendly towards others with posts like this.

your comp will run it perfectly as you can prolly tell from the sys tem spex but it semms to me you may need to check if you have the latest drivers for your nVidia GC. nVidia has given me very little but grief so i long ago switched to ATI Radeon cards which although are now outdated, i have had no problems with, even with it overclocked.

Man I'm in a bad mood today
