Back in the day, there were regular release days for RF maps....then it dwindled to once a week....then it dwindled some more.
This is understandable given how old the game is and how few people are still playing/mapping.
I was just wondering if (at this point in time) there is some sort of predicatble schedule or do the mods just wait until they get enough submissions to justify posting them?
Just curious, not a criticism in any way, shape or form. |

ya i have notice it has been awhile for the Update's it is always nice to see what people have posted 
it would be nice to have the files on here now but we just gota be patient and let the mods do there job's stress free  |

You lawyers and your desperate search for justice. 
Any way, they should be done on Saturday's (P.S.T.) but lately I've been very busy and then my Internet took a dump for a couple of days and silly me, I could have done the updates from work but decided to eat lunch or play solitaire on the computer. 
Please don't sue quote me for I will try and do them on a more timely manner.  |

I wasn't complaining at all....was just curious because I had submitted a map (first in a long while) and couldn't figure out when to expect to see it posted. I appreciate all the hard work done to keep this site up.  |

I thought the problem was the lack of people submitting stuff, but I guess I was wrong. Well, as for me, I kind of lost interest.  |

Well I can never open RED anymore without even knowing what to make  and I did have a bunch of ideas back then, which was about a year ago when I released my last map, but I just got bored of it and I really don't know how. I need some kind of inspiration that will get me going again.  |

thats easy. try searching for the first things you ever created on a pc (mediawise) music, levels, models, etc. If i ever come across one of the first levels ive made for RF thats a big inspiration boost!
Dunno if you get inspiration like that though. although im never short of ideas mabye i can lend you some.  |

Thanks, I might try your suggestions just to see if I get any ideas, but usually when I wanted inspiration I would look at other people's maps or look at other games that are completely different from rf, games that would have alot more detail in their levels like doom3, half-life2, etc. but if I ever run out of ideas then I'll ask for some.  |

well i just recently found RED editor on my computer and after wiping off a couple years worth of dust i started mapping again. i guess that will show up on the saturday update.  looking forward to some feedback, i sure hope i havnt gotten too rusty.. |
