export your model as a V3D, ccrunch to V3M... stick the file into a mod file (a vpp).... Open RED, browse for the mesh (probably still in your CCrunch folder) then open it. The model will lose its texture co-ordinates, but its handy if the brush you want to make is too hard to do in RED.

you can also put the v3m into your meshes.vpp but make sure that the name is different from all other meshes if you go that route. Once the file is in the mesh.vpp you open RED and then continue with the rest of Diesels steps.
