Well after installing random drivers and deleting/reinstalling random files, I FINALLY got RF up and running again!
It's great to see a few full servers still fully operational. Plus it seems there's no cheating or lag. I think I will finally start working on my Halo 2 level: Lockout port in RED. YAY! |

I don't know, it kept popping up ActiveX errors or something if I remember correctly. The funny thing is this comp will be able to run Crysis at full power. Good times with buggy RF.

Don't think so, but it will take alot to outperform my PC. (Well, minus the DX10 card that I won't get for a while... I have an X1900XTX)
And I guess I jumped the gun considering to take full advantage of Crysis you will need a DX10 card. |

I'll be getting Vista almost immediately after it comes out. For the "home" version it's only supposed to be $99. |

why get vista.... if i were you, i would wait until everything needs it... I can tell you with absoulute certinty that i wont be getting vista any time soon |

Its absured to buy an OS just got one game... Ill probably end up getting Vista later, but it wont be just for Halo 2, i can guarentee that. |

Err, games aren't the only reason to get a new OS. I happen to know Vista comes IPv6 ready which, eventually, will benifit everyone. Not to mention the annoyingly hightened security and amazing visual effects. My only problem is that it (currently) doesn't support Open GL making many older games, though not RF, unplayable. |

they will bring back OpenGL if theres a large demand for it.
As far as im concerned..(Hapa is going to smack me ) MacOS Is NOT the best... |
