That song probably got popular because it's so funny (there is no other reason I can think of). Is it supposed to be reggae or what?

most rap/hip hop songs are like that, they slur all the words soo much that people cannot tell what they're saying ... but in the end, does it really matter what they're saying ? Do we listen to music because we like to hear the message of the song again and again? ... a musical message, but not a literal one ...

not all rap is taht bad for now it is. if you pay attention to young jocs lyrics... they have no meaning, he isnt saying anything special or creative in the song, what i think is people are interested more in the beats, then what they are actually saying. rap in the early 90's was the only good ones
