okay is there a way to make a texture i have fit once to an object to my map instead of having it duplicate itself many times to fit it. (how do i do it?). if you need clarification of my question tell me and i'll try to clarify it.

Look for a texture coordinates editor in the program that should fix it up.

thx guys for the help. for anyone having a similar problem press U at the thing ur try to texture while in texture mode (f6). u can then set the number of tiles of the texture on the wall or w/e.
