I noticed that whenever I try to download some older files like CTF-Dream Runners, DM-Orbital III or CTF-Mystery Clan Rails 2, they get saved in the Internet cache(Temporary Internet Files folder) and I don't get prompted to save them somewhere else(this way you can't see the progress, but at least you'll know when the download is finished).

If it's just older files that doesn't seem to me like it'd be a browser problem; besides, what if he likes the one he's using...?

Internet Explorer has plenty of nice features, most people just don't care about them because it's from Microsoft and comes standard. Sure there are security flaws, but in case you haven't noticed those are constantly being fixed. Honestly, what do people have against Microsoft!?

Do you Left click on the file of Right click on the file and goto "Save as" ?

I go to the download window and left click the download button like I do with every file on this site. Right click and Save Target As don't work here. And I forgot to say I use IE.

Perhaps it's a security issue (though, I doubt it). Open up Control Panel, then Internet Options. Click the Security tab, then highlight Trusted Sites and click the Sites button just below. Add http://www.levels4you.com to the list, 'ok' out of everything and try again. Please post your results.

I did that a long time ago. I also tried to add now http://redfaction.levels4you.com to the trusted sites list with no success and even removing them from the list didn't work.
