Ok, another Bizarre problem. found this whilst taking Screenies for Yobound 2. I was taking plenty of Screenies during testing of funny moments, hectic battles and such. I got a beastly shot of Exo running across the room railing a a guy down a corridor and dodging my shot by an inch, but they havent saved. 
Any ideas? |

You sure Print Screen is the hotkey? Maybe you had some setting off. Do you have an F-lock key on your keyboard? Try playing about with that. |

Ya, if you have F Lock on the PrtScn key doesnt work. F Lock has to be off for Print screen to work.  if thats not the problem then I have no idea. |

Well on microsoft keyboards with all the media buttons and stuff the F keys (F1, F2, F3, etc) Have 2 functions. with F Lock off they act as help, undo, redo, etc and with F Lock on they act as normal F keys.

I'm not completly sure what you are trying to do here.
Is it that your trying to take screen shots in mediaplayer or something.
If so:
Here is a method for creating a snapshot from your movies for both realplayer or windows media player! Please use one of these two programs for creating your snapshot!
For RealPlayer, you will need to turn off the optimized display. You can do this by running RealPlayer, clicking on View ->Preferences, going to the Performance tab, unchecking the box labeled "Use optimized video display", hitting OK, and restarting RealPlayer. Now you may make take a screenshot by pressing the [ALT + PRNTSCRN] combination. You can paste this screenshot into any graphics editing program (e.g. MS Paintbrush) and save the file. When you are done taking screenshots, you should re-enable the optimized video display because this makes videos play smoother and look better.
For Windows Media Player, you have to disable Hardware Acceleration. You can do this in Windows Media Player 6.4 and later by clicking on View ->Options and moving the Hardware Acceleration slider to None. You can do this in Windows Media Player 7 by clicking on Tools ->Options, going to the Performance tab, moving the Hardware Acceleration slider to None, and restarting Windows Media Player. Now you may make take a screenshot by pressing the [ALT + PRNTSCRN] combination. You can paste this screenshot into any graphics editing program (e.g. MS Paintbrush) and save the file. When you are done taking screenshots, you should move the Hardware Acceleration slider back to Full because this makes videos play smoother and look better.

in rf.. u can only take a max of 5 screen shots in one sitting.. using fraps or other such programs allow many more screen shots.. |

Ugly Donkey, there is no limit of 5 screenshots in one sitting for me. I have taken over 40 screens to make a quick animation before.
Beatonator, are you playing RF using a laptop? If so you have to hold the "FN" and press the button with PrintScreen as a secondary thing. On my dads old laptop it was the ALT key. You see the secondary function of a laptop key in smaller text on that key. If you don't have a laptop computer then this probably didn't help. |

Nope using PC, used to take screenshots, just suddenly stopped. maybe I took too many overall. I am kinda print screen happy, got a VERY VERY large archive |

I think if you dont move them out an a new year begins the old ones might get overwritten.
I mean they only save the day and the month data, not the year. So if you've taken a screenshot at the 1.1.2005 and do the same one year later it'll be overwritten  |
