(ok, forgive me if i say something completely off of halo ... because i don't follow that game at all  )
Are the humans going on the offensive in the 3rd halo since the last two halos rather than sitting back and getting stomped? (the movie looked like they were getting ready for an invasion ... well ... if that is some sort of portal)
(again, i don't follow halo that much so correct me politely if i am completely wrong ... ) |

That portal is where all the halos are controlled from( i think its called 'the ark').
But,i dont see how the humnas have a chance against the covenant (maybe its the chief  (the assault rifle better be dual wieldable)
I think they changed the assault rifle back from the battle rifle though ,outlawskot |

Well according to the Weekly Whats Update at bungie, its different. In Halo 1, it was the MA5B, In the books there was the MA5A variant also, it was I think, better than the "B" variant. Maybe what the Chief is holding in that trailer is the "A" variant.  |

That is the best freakin' gun in the game. just imagine, holding the battle rifle and the assault rifle in my hands together.Im sure they wont remove the battle rifle..because they will take away the burst fire and make it single fire

Why though. The Battle Rifle is actually better than the pistol. Larger bullet, longer range, same zoom, more accurate, larger clips, larger ammo supply, 3 round burst, more damage (well, if Halo 2's BR was in Halo 1 tuned to halo 1's damage scale, the Pistol would be wimpy compared to the BR). But that is my opinon |

That is true...but the damage would be scaled down to about the same as the assault rifle shooting only 3 shots per round |

I do not think the asking price for the launch of the PS3 is too steep, after all it is the next generation of consoles and Blu Ray >Mmmmmmmmmmm<.
When you look at the prices of computers/consoles over the last 20-30 years is seems reasonable.
Atari 2600 vcs..........1977 £123
ZX Spectrum.............1982 £175
Commodore 64............1982 £400
Ninteno NES.............1983 £140
Amstrad pc 464 (colour).1984 £400
Sega Master System......1986 £99
Now 20 years on don't ya think the price may rise just a little bit for a new games consoles
Tho ya could of got a Neo_Geo in 1990 for about £440 and paid about £130 for each game. tho if any1 wants to sell a mint condition copy of metal slug for that price contact me  |

yea sorry about that I read to the end of page 2 of this thread then replied without reading the rest......tho I think my points should be considered before ya slam sony...O and halo 3 just does not do it for me.but each to there own  . |
