is there a way to make music loop with out a break like it does in UT2004. i tryed heap of things and i cant get it to loop with out that little break at the end of the song.
Looping sounds that is MAC friendly in Red Faction:
When_Dead
link* it to Cyclic_Timer
link* it to Play_Sound
Then link* When_Dead to Trigger Door (check "Is Auto Trigger" or no check mark if you don't want it to loop)
I read somewhere that you don't really need to Auto trigger but have been too lazy to check to see if that is true and oh well I know it works this way.
This method seems to allow MAC user to play this level. If you need a picture then open up my map and check the events inside helicopter.
* You link a trigger and event together by using the objects unique id number, or by just selecting the first object, then the second object, and hitting the "K" hot-key.

Yes i used that technique in my own map, but it doesnt do it perfectly every time.
I found that it changes depending on where you spawn and how far away you are from the actual event.
In your map the sound file is relatively short so it goes unnoticed, in my map where the sound is longer you will notice it more.
I didnt use the auto trigger, if that makes any difference.

The only sound I have ever heard without a gap between when it loops has been an in game ambient sound effect. Maybe they just made the files in a way that you can't really tell when it loops.
