Hi guyz. I own UT03, but goober said that i should get 04, I was just wonderin is it worth the money? |

well you can get it for like $20 on amazon, for an awesome game... + the Mars Wars mod comming out soon 
So yea, id say buiy it, then you can learn the editor and help map for the mod! i mean when its released, we're not stopping there.... we are planning bi-weekly or monthly updates... mutators, maps, textures, vehicles, models... FX... ect... and theres a stock load of maps over in the RF section just waiting to be converted  i mean, the more maps the better |

Yes, absolutely, it's worth it. This game's pretty awesome just by itself, but with the huge range of mods and muts, I'd have to say it's one of my favorite PC games. |

That game is dead. Just as dead as RF. You'll have a lot of difficulties finding non-empty servers and if you find some they'll be passworded and even if you can join a server, other players who have been playing since the begining will brutally own you.
Still UT 2004 is of course better than UT 2003. If you don't have a broadband and/or don't expect to play it online, it might be worth buying UT2004, even though the game is mostly supposed to be played online.
The only real difference between UT 2003 and UT 2004 are vehicles, the rest is details.
If you want active online gaming at any hour, you'd better buy a newer game than UT 2003 or UT 2004. |

WHAT?!?! Molo, youve been grossly misimformed. I can go on in the middle of the day or the morning and get 32 people on 100+ servers... have you ever played UT2k4? Latly? I doubt it. |

i figure if you plan on getting involved in the UT community you should buy the game ... that way when UT 2007 comes out, you will have a jump start on modding and mapping ... unless they severely change it ... which would be stupid .
It's the main reason why i still want to learn more about UT modding and mapping. |

UT2k4 beats it in every possible way and then some. Hell even UT beats UT2k3.

haha on my xfire hes ALWAYS playing ut2004 everytime hes online its in that game.
