Hello every one! I doubt many of you remember me but I was an avid RF player a few years back and visitor of this great site, L4y. Wow...it seems like L4Y got a big design change. How's every one been, and what's the news on RF? I'm glad it's still alive! |

Ahh Ely! Long-time no-see Yea there was a redesign a while back. As for RF, there are slightly less people playing now. Im sure all of your old haunts are still around though  |

Thanks for the warm welcome. 
Well, I figured the amount of players would decline but I am about ready to hop back in and start fraggin' with the rest of you, so that's just 1 player gained vs. the 5 lost. Thing is...I just need to get RF again, LOL. |

I guess I could ask you thins question on yahoo but I don't feel like chatting up a storm, I have to go walk the dog. Any way, here it goes...DID YOU GET A NEW VIDEO CARD?
The last time I saw you, you were only getting 12 FPS and you could only play default Red Faction maps...Oh and Solitaire.

Oh dear, I remember that whole LS thing, Sobe. LoL. And of course you had to remember me Kiliad...I remember your sniper being conveniently aimed at my head...then I was dead. Those were great times.
And you Frank! Actually, you'd be quite surprised that after 6 years...I actually got a new computer! It's heaven sent! Right now, I don't got the full version of RF (but I'm desperately trying to get it) but I did check out my FPS in the demo and I was ranging to about 90 - 120. That's a MAJOR difference from the single digits and teens I used to get. Even then I hardly complained about it, but now I certainly have no reason to.  I can't wait to frag with you all again! |

Interesting that you are looking for a full version copy of RF. I just got a brand spanking new copy two days ago. I ordered it from Hoots Loot.
BTW the shipping costs are like 10 dollars but in my case, it was totally worth it since he sent it EXPRESS. Sure he sent all 5 games/programs in the same package but I still got it in about two days after I placed the order. BTW they take pay pal which meant I didn't have to use a credit card, it was deducted from my checking account. It's like white on rice. 
Man I just realized that I got burned on the shipping costs. If I had not gone through amazon.com to find that site, I could have probably paid less but oh well, even with the added cost for the software, it was still a bargain. |

Yeah, you kind of did get jipped with the shipping costs but CENSORED I can't agree with you more...that game is classic. And if I didn't mean that then I would of deserted RF a long time ago. I am going to look on Amazon right now...
By the way...Do you still host your server Frank?

LoL, Molodiets. How did you manage to recover my old avatar? I was trying to look for it too! Yeah, I just recently got into Naruto but I've been skipping around with the episodes because I was introduced to Naruto somewhere in like the 40th episode.
Haha, I remember that clan match redfac18. My other two clan members had left me so I had to take the load onto myself and well...we ended up losing but I did get a high frag count. I've actually reached a near 300 kills or so in CTF in the past. I believe I still got some remnants of my skill, but I presume a lot of people probably are on par with me now but that makes the game much more interesting. Once I get RF back onto my computer, I will hone my skills.
Oh, and I must point out that my favorite person to frag was always NoClanFrank. 
So does any one know if Troll or the Infamous Grim Reaper still play? I think my good friend Johnny_Suave still hangs around here... |

Troll is gone now I think and his server is also, Grim I think left when the community was being a bunch of arseholes. I don't remember the whole story. |

Haha, yeah, I agree that Frank is a pleasing kill---probably for a lot of us LOL.
Aww man...that sucks about Grim & Troll. They were cool... what's this about the community being arseholes? I know the RF community was a bit rowdy a few years back but I didn't think they would literally drive someone out. (I have no intention to glorify this past event.) From the looks of it though it seems that the community has gotten better.
I hope to see more familiar faces! |

Well like I said, I don't remember the story that well, but I think grim was fighting with someone or a lot of people and he got sick of it, and he left, something like that. |
