got good news. sins the up rising of the Sk. clan a stack of people are moving into RF from other games  these people have abondon call of duty in order to play RF. bout bloody time, that crapy low res texture game with most texs being brown.  well any way we need more people doing just that moving in to RF from other games. |

RF's Engine is alot better than Half life 2's engine.
just kidding, actually half life 2 is way better in any way possible. |

RF has geo-mod, that is about all it has against the Half-Life 2 engine.
When you can do this crap with a game engine, you know you have something. |

A game engine handles things like lighting, physics and rendering. It's what makes Unreal feel like Unreal and Half-Life 2 feel like Half-Life 2. |

i like half life's engine it seems more real than unreal ... 
An engine is the heart of the game ... everything else is built around it ... maps, charaters, items, weapons, etc.
some engines have more "power" than others. they generally are more realistic, they are faster, or they have a special feature other engines don't provide. like RF's Geo mod.
I could explain in mathematical terms too if you'd like. |
