I"M SHOUTING SO MY POST WILL BE HEARD.
BESIDES THE MOTERCYCLE SCEAN. ARE YOU PLANING ON MAKING ANY OTHER SCEANS? I MEAN IF YOU DO IT CORRECTLY THIS MOD COULD TURN OUT TO BE THE "MAX PAYNE TWO, THE LOST LEVELS" PROJECT. (TOO BAD I CAN'T MOD MAX PAYNE THOUGH  )

Ok I'm going to get my tupence here, STREETFIGHTER is going to own everybodies CENSORED So why bicker about which mod is 'going' to be better when its going up against STREETFIGHTER as it will make all other mods look like tweak mods!!
This of course is rubbish and i'd thought i'd join in the fun. I mean come on this is stupid, who gives a monkys if someone thinks there mod is better than another? Best bet just let them say what they want then see how the final result backs up claims of this and that.
Every original mod released for MP2 (I mean in concept, artwork, everything) is to be considered a gem for doing something that hasn't been ripped from elsewhere. Totally 100% original content.
Mods that are built on other mods has been the usual formula for MP2 by ripping the hell out of mod A and then mod B to form brand new mod C. This is the reason why on the whole MP modding is dead. Everyone making mods based on other mods please, please either aim to build upon it by improving it or just leave it the hell alone. I for one don't want to see another Matrix/gunkata lobby mod clone with a slight tweak in the bullet time or another BT song added. This sort of stuff has killed this once fine community, so for the love of god, please make your mods actually achieve something and not use HOMGunkata/EQgunkata/Kungfu/CTF/Cinema included in the lobby or chateau.

On topic i'd like to see a motocycle sequence. If you can pull it off then kudo's to you. I do know for a fact it will not be easy to simulate but again you'll willing to try it which is the whole thing about modding, find out what things work, what doesn't and working around it. Keep pegging away with it and if you succeed then you'll have done somthing every other 'proper' mod has. Being original and pulling it off.

First of all, STREETFIGHTER ROCKS!!!! 
Aztec, what you had said earlier is true. This was one of the main reason why I abandoned vengeance mod development. After thinking for a few weeks, I was finally made a decission to develop a new kind of concept. Something thoughtful and never been tried before. In Max Payne 1, they used to create a vehicle sequence. And to be honest, I was amazed and I still am.
My action concepts are basicly inspired by those scenes in Max Payne 1. I was quite confused why they never used any vehicle scene again in Max Payne 2. I admit that some of my idea comes from parts of movies. But those parts of movies were outstanding and amazed us all. I believe it still amazed us.
It will be quite hard to make this mod. I still have a lot to learn and a lot of things to experiment with. Hopefully I can show the developments. |

Aztec said something I agree with allot. We are seeing to many small tweaks to other mods. Lets just leave the gun kata to the HoM team witch have proven to be the most talented and professional equilibrium team. (Don’t forget everyone, this was only the first version of HoM) So instead of doing more gun kata do something that hasn't been done. I like the idea of the bike scene and fighting on the truck. Just run with that and work from there. I don't see why you need gun kata. |

Yeah he's right and it wasn't the point of the post. The main point of it is to stop arguing about stupid things and try and be creative. I wanted to emphisize how silly it was all getting and my 'claims' aren't to be taken seriously!

haha don't worry about it man, i appreciate the little mods in all their myriads of seemingly-insignificant differences...
they constantly provide a small, yet consistent distraction from studying and homework
