HOW COOL IS THAT GAME?!?!
This is by far the best shooter I've played. Mafia is now placed as 2nd. 
Shame on me, I didn't buy it earlier. It is strange, the game isn't (or wasn't?) allowed here in germany, but today I found it in ma favorite computer games shop. It was NEVER available before. Perhaps that shop does illegal things...I don't care cuz that game blown me any my ears away. Awesome.
The overwhelming sound, the fights, the scenario.
Omg, will there ever be a 3rd verion?
edit. Heck! How many downloads and reviews do these cinema mods have? I can't believe it! I must check them out once I've done the game!!!

YEah i really liked maxpayne 2 as well. I played the first one when it come out. But i only got the 2nd one about 6 months ago. Great game! |

What?? Max Payne 2 wasn't allowed in Germany?? Why?? anyways...
REDFROG, you're well known in the RF mod community as a talented moder, you could share that talent with the MP2 mod community

Thats great that you got max payne 2, guess what i got it the day it was released and im still full blown playing it non stop its just one of those games that changes alot. and since its moddable, it just makes the games replay value INFINTE max payne 3 if ever made, will be a god send..it will change my life..and no doubt'ly make me buy a better computer! |

yes it diffenitly is an awsome game i have played through the single player at least 10 times (with diffrent mods) and spent countless hours in the dmw modes... The game has seemed to have taken a permanent place on my hardrive . |

Man, that is the coolest shooting game!
I wish it was longer, though.  It took me around 10 hours to finish it at the first try. In the weekend I have even finished the medium and heavy difficulties with no problem..the highest difficulty is a joke. Often I had 8 painkillers in my inventary and saving isnt really needed, too. Playing Red Faction on hard is the hell. Well, most games become unfair on the hardest difficulty. (but on Max I didn't really feel it was much harder..)
When you played the game once, and skip all those story elements then it'll take less than 6 hours which is absolutely way too less playtime. Even the game Red Faction takes longer to play! But anyway, the re-playability (or how its called) is very high..no wonder I have played it the 3rd time in a few days lol
What are the highest time records in that deathmatch? I love those deathmatches, are there custom maps to download?
Wish MaxPayne3 was available. I don't really think that the game only needs better graphics, but that may be the thinking of the publisher. They should just make a new, great stroy with a whole new bunch of enemies and bosses and I bet everyone gonna love that game, too. I think the graphics of MaxPayne2 are still good enough! |

some of the mods come with there own custom dmw and there are plenty of others for download... my favorite looking one is breaking daylights.. i believe they released an officail addon to the dmw levels ya here it is http://files.filefront.com/Max+Payne+2+Bonus+Chapters/;1235197;;/fileinfo.html (omg hotel lobby freakin roxors)not on this site though  . If ya get tired of those i sudgest the cinema mod.. it makes the dmw levels alot more kick arse. |

The best part of the game is getting to play the part of the girl...NOT. Maybe I should reinstall it. I've never played the modifications available here or elsewhere. But I just might. I liked Max payne one and Max Payne two is even better.  |
