First, sorry if this topic has already been posted!!
I've resently started messing with RED Editor again and have noticed a custom texture issue that I was unaware of before. Only effects the custom textures. Looking for advise on how to deal with this.
My older maps were made when I had ATI Radeon video cards. 9600/9700/9800 and now 800X in my old "second" computer.
My new main computer is running 2 SLI'd Nvidia 6800's.
(Doesn't seem to be a SLI issue as I've tried it both ways)
The maps that were made with the ATI cards still line up fine and look good on my "second" machine with the ATI 800X. But are WAY OFF when I look at the same map on my SLI'd main computer.
And the new map that I am working on now on the SLI'd machine looks FINE but the custom textures are WAY OFF when I look at it on the ATI machine.
WHAT DO I DO???
Thanks
MM

Check the sizes (in pixels) of the textures.
I imagine they do not conform to the 32 x 64 x 128 x 256 x 512 dimensions, and are more likely to be random numbers. I find that NVidia cards cope with the problem well, but Ati cards do not.
Im pretty sure ATI just does it differently, its almost like they stretch the textures out more.
I wouldnt say that the textures become WAY off so yours might be an isolated problem.
Predicted response:
try updating the the drivers for the ATI and see if that helps at all.
P.S. Still Alive.

Mucho THANKS for the info "Mad_Ferrit" & "LordSeaFood"!!!!
It was the aspect ratio's. I went thru the problem textures and sure enough they were outa wack. Reset the aspect ratio's to the correct dimensions and BHAM. This problem is solved.
New quirky problem with the ATI system. --------------
On the Nvidia system everything looks good in the game. But on the ATI system I am seeing some of the brushes thru the walls. (Secret passages just behind the main wall brushes.)
Any idea's??
THANKS, again!

That might be a rendering problem with the texture or portal, kind of like the one seen here.
