I have found two. That miner that spawns in multiplay, and an ad for summoner in the campaign. They seem to be causes by the dynamic lighting effect from a weapon being fired. You fire and the flash lights up the surrounding surfaces. The flash should fade away quickly but occasionally it doesn't and a surface will retain a right spot. I once saw a guy who seemed to be out of alignment with the map. It was as if his copy of the map was moved a little in one direction. The effect was that he could walk a certain distance into some objects in the direction his map was moved but if he went the other way, he was stopped by objects before he actually hit them. He was hitting the objects in his map but to everyone else he hadn't hit them yet.... understand? At least that's what the effect was. It doesn't mean that the cause really was map misalignment. It wasn't ghosting that's for sure. Spawning inside somebody else. Now that's wierd! And disturbing!!! LordSeafood   Posted 2nd Mar 2006 11:51pm L4Y Member Post 932 / 1792 That dynamic light you are talking about Kiliad is when you have hit something with the baton and then switched to a weapon, you need the dynamic lights option on in the settings for this to happen. I shot someone and when I turned off the scope view there was a bright spot light where I was standing. I'm sure any weapon that gives a flash has the potential to do it. I've also seen the red glow of the damage amp do it when a person who has picked it up dies. A rare sight though. The baton way works everytime for me, unless there is already to many "spheres" P.S. The weirdest thing I've seen happen in a server is to witness Hapa Hanu kick some major butt. Then again it might be that cheater that he mentioned one time. 1st Note to servers: If Hapa Hanu is ever kicking butt in a server. Kick him, as it isn't the real Hapa Hanu. 2nd Note to servers: I'm just kidding. Weirdest thing I have noticed is the flying cheat is written on the APC texture, oh and that in the textures, one with alpha (sort of Grid one) it has a swear word written on it (extremely faint) Trying to find old players.
