Run Event December 27th!   Online Goodness There are 0 users and 2 guests online     Levels-4-You : Lounge : Hibernation Error [Forum Rules]   Back to Forum Thread List DVL_IAC   Posted 27th Feb 2006 9:35pm L4Y Member Post 705 / 1417 Usually when I'm done on my computer I usually put it into hibernation insted of turning it off, but lately when I tell it to hibernate it starts to hibernate then suddenly brings me back to my desktop and an error pops up that says "Insufficient system resources exist to complete the API" then it doesn't give me the option to hibernate again, only sleep and sleep sucks because it doesnt turn off any of my fans so the computers just as loud as if was totally on... What does this error mean and how come it happens now pretty much every time I try to hibernate.. I never used to get this error.. It’s just bizarre in my opinion. We spend good money to get as much memory as we can in our computers, and here Windows XP won’t support more than 1GB if you want to hibernate? Ridiculous. I don't feel like contacting microsoft so I d/l'd the file at the link The_Doc gave. I probably wont be able to tell for a few days though if it works.
