I would sugest using the Microsoft AntiSpyware program, as it stops Spam and other things before its on your computer and its free  |

I'd recommend Ad-Aware over Microsoft Anitspyware any day it's just been on the market longer!

But you know what they say, prevention is the best cure! So download Firefox web browser!

But if u lyke Limewire do not download cause wen u scan it says it has Spyware & if u remove all spyware limewire goes, this got rid alot of mi spyware now i get beta ping & FPS |

Limewire contains spyware in itself, and I know that alot of the things that can be downloaded using it have a risk of viruses and spyware.
So its best not to use those kind of programs Any web browsing leaves you open to attacks, but its not like you can stop that - the best way is to use Mozilla, IE seems to be a spyware magnet of some kind - perhaps some huge conspiracy from Microsoft.... |

Ok so my comp always gets pop-ups and these spyware ads. Even when I go on my IE, the home page says that I have been infected and someone found out my IP adress. For some reason, I seemed to ignore all these things and now my internet has gotten slower and when I play CS, my ping is sometimes high even though I have DSL.
I have many..MANY programs on my comp but I kinda want to reformat it. But before reformating it, will the spyware remover and antivirus programs save my computer from going berserk?  |

MAXPAYNE4664 it is still possible that even after you remove the infected files, it still won't run correctly. There could have been so damage done to important files but you won't know until you try. |

One file that I don't know if anybody has mentioned is this one:
SpywareBlaster
I have to warn you. Using this program will help keep you safer while browsing the Internet but at the same time, it will block a lot of the so call porn sites. Or sites that are known to contain spy ware.

This was a problem with my uncle's computer, it had become almost unusable because of pop-ups that never stopped popping!
Your best bet is to just take the advice of everyone who has posted here.
- The first thing you should do is to download Ad-Aware Then you should run a full system scan of your computer. Once this is complete delete all the files that it finds (this could be in excess of 300). This should make a noticeable impact on your computer.
- Once that is done, you should download Mozilla Firefox This really is a must - Using Internet Explorer is a security risk to your computer I'm sorry Microsoft, but it's true.
This should give your computer a huge amount of increased stability - this will make a huge impact, and should lessen any future problems.
It is also advisable to run a virus scan, as something as nasty as that could also be lurking in your computer.
If you don't have antivirus software you could try here. This is a free trial version I have just found. Although I suggest you find a permanent Anti Virus solution.
If you are still having problems I'd try also running Spybot Search & Destroy. This is another anti-spyware program, and its a good idea to run two, as these programs do not pick up everything that may be causing problems with your computer.
Summary
- Ad-Aware Download and run a scan
- Mozilla Firefox Download and never use Internet Explorer again. |

I think we need to set fire to the internet and start again from scratch. There's just so much crapulence on it that its ridiculous... and a lot of it is duplicated on a million sites. No wonder my ping is so high playing RF! Its because of dirty little varmints downloading even dirtier things lol.

One program that i use is Ewido. It\'s a Anti-Malware scanner and has picked up 100\'s of files that McAfee didn\'t (Got rid of McAfee after that )
