Try goto_player. You'll need nav points for the AI. The redtech site you speak of has some basic AI tutorials there. I noticed that a guy was making a Doom type mod for RF which, from my dodgy memory, had some zombies ... however I think that mod has bitten the dust .. maybe he/she would be generous enough to offer you a zombie.

Red Doom is SKA-Deisel's project, which is still going strong, he ahs been taking a break and perfecting his skills (not that he needed to do any perfecting!)
Red-Tech tutorials are the best, the Tutorial part of the site is still up. Its just the Forums that have dissappeared.
The GoTo-Player event will work I think however, when he reaches the player I dont know if you need to keep re-triggering it.
Trying to find old players. Anyone about? Drop me a PM or reply to this thread: >Link< (or head over to RFrun.net's comment section!)

You have to be careful with that event though, I once tried it and the entities either walked into you constantly and pushed you about or if I checked 'no player collide' they stood inside me. I was probably doing something wrong but just a warning incase you have that problem
Also I think that Griffin in the SP game doesn't actually follow you does he? I think he just follows parts of a set path ( which you trigger along the way )? Could be wrong though hehe, have a look at that map in RED
what is wierd is there is a follow_player event you can select from the dropdown list after you put like follow_waypoints. To find it put a "follow_waypoints" in the map, press CTRL-P for properties then scroll up one and select "follow_player" event.
