Ok, so maybe not. But anyways, whatever happened to Hive? Like a year ago it was one of the most played mods, now...its non-existant. Someone really needs to setup a ded. for it. I loved it, and enjoyed playing it alot. Such a shame a cool mod like this can just fade away. |

Same with ISM and all the other great RF mods. They start out great, but lose fun and people lose interest in them. Kinda like how RF as a whole is going, sure you have mod makers map makers and the lot. But all things must come to an end, including RF. *looks at day and shudders* |

Actually, I thought Hive1.2beta was better than the latest ISM <_< Might just be me though.... |

ISM was a recreation of the ever-so popular CounterStrike. And in that, of course only 1 team caps <_< If you have played CounterStrike you would know that! lol |

komodo probable the main reason you don't see it anymore is because hardly anybody likes to have to start the game with a different mod or they just don't know how too.
The reason I don't play it is because the Geo was set too high and with a couple of rockets or a fusion the level was ruined.
When we played it before, we would play it with flying mods on. That was the only way we could still have fun playing it. Getting stuck in a large hole isn't fun.
Playing with flying mods gets old after a while and the reason why we(me and my friends) stopped playing it.
As far as ISM, I didn't like the jump height on the characters and that is the real reason I stopped playing it. Also, I prefer DM to anything else. Maybe I am just greedy, I want all the frags that I get to belong to me and only me. Oh yeah the ISM mod might of worked better as a CTF than counter strike. |

We sometimes play hive. We were going to make a new server for it actually. Those who don't have the mod can get it here. It's SO rewarding playing the nuke hunt map when you've actually made it to the centre of the map, rode the elevator up and fired the nuke without 20 people shooting you first!

Okay here is some information from my point of view.
Hive mod development has been stopped permanently, because main developer has got other interests. I know this because developer him self told me so in email.
Currently I am working on for my personal homepage, and It should be launched staring next month. For my site I will add sections for some games which include games of "looking glass studios", Red Faction Diablo 2(diablo2realms), and San Andreas, also I will put forums upto my site (section for each respective section on mainsite).
Now what comes to my mod, I want to make it to be good single and multiplayer action and therefore I will really spend some time to get it to be good, so I will tell more about it when I really got something to tell. |

What development? I thought it was finished.
I also liked ISM 1.1 over 1.2 because in every server that had ISM 1.2 treated the RPG like the fusion/HMG in regular RF. Stupid whiners.
I always liked the gatling gun in hive though. |
