Have you tried playing with the life of the brush to see if it helps at all?
The only thing I can think of why it's happening maybe because where they are placed in the level. You know above, not so close to the ground?

i was wondering if it was because they were too big ... and there is a limit on broken glass pieces ... but i can break two panes at a time (as seen in the pic) Ill try playing with the life but, i don't know how that would help ...

almost all of the panels break like this except the smalller less distorted ones ... i would break it into several faces instead of one but that would make it look bad .

I think i know a solution. Try remakeing those brushes and make them very small to start out with, then texture them the way you want and then in brush mode stretch the brush to fit the way you want. This should stretch the glass shard making bigger shard show up when broken. So in other words stretching the brush makes stretched shards. Understood?

Btw, looking good.

yeah, but it was a pain to do ... im kinda working half and half now ... at home i work on the station, and at school (if i have time during Comp apps) i work on the tub level. which now has a ship and a loofa to go with it.

i tried the face life ... that didn't work ... i have yet to try the brush size though.

edit:
I also tried sizing the brush from extremely small to large that didn't work

BTW the glass doesn't fall out of the skybox ... how lame is that

Hmm thats wierd it works for me. The more you stretch the bigger the pieces are. I can make a test level if you want me to to prove it works lol.

i started off with a really small face to begin a radius of .25 and stretched it to 50 by 7 and it didn't make a difference to me ... ill try again i just thought of something.

... nope same result.

What else do you have in there that breaks?
Also, is the placement of the panels exactly the same... are they both free floating or actually attached to the rest of the structure?
I know they are meant to be attached if it were a real space station, but glass sometimes behave in odd ways if it is actually attached to a non-detail brush.
More than likely it is a fragment limitation issue as has already been suggested. Geomod, particle emitters and glass all have limits to the amount of extra objects they can produce which might be dependant on available RAM.
