Quoting goober
Prepare for the hell of, RF Bone, Bipeds, LOTS AND LOTS of guessing anc checking, hours inside max for one animation. Happy Birthday.

RFBone is easy when you get used to it (took me around 3 months to get a successful gun )

You don't need Biped

There shouldn't be the need for lots and lots of guessing and checking and the average animation for me took around 5 minutes to make.. except for reload. That's VERY hard.

Anyway, on the subject of new weapons.. I'm gonna start working on a new client-side. The gun is a TT-30 pistol from the WW2 era

LOL . It's funny that you say that RF Bone is easy than in your CDC you said this:

Well I'm having a bit of bother with RF Bone at the minute so I decided I'd get the TT-30 working in-game as a 3rd person model first. I'm pretty pleased with the result.

Which one is it? Is it easy or not?
Either way, good luck with your project.

Haha yeah I did contradict myself a bit there...

Basically I'm using a whole new setup. I stole the arms from the RF weapon examples and created my own bones. Before I formatted though, I had an armset that was already boned and just needed all the other stuff doing like vertex weighting, position controllers etc.. This time round it's a LOT harder to do the vertex weighting because I'm not used to it!
