I am experiancing a problem with RED that when i click on texture mode red crashes. Also if i create packfile it says error creating packfile. When i look it says error loading Rck_Default. I have re-installed red, deleted the level that first did this to me and still the same.

Did you replace any default RF Files? Try Reinstalling RF.

Check your texture folder. Remove non targa files or suspect files or corrupt files or files with alpha channeling.

Well... remove all your textures from texture folder.and put them back one after another untill you find the one that made it crash. I hope you'll have a clue about the culprit.

U have a texture that was saved in paintshop pro u can disable an option when u save the file i think that disables the compression
-waR'.se- I don't know who you are, where you are from, or what you want... But if you threaten my freedom... I'll kill you.

Convert it to targa and put in texture folder or in maps1.vpp where it should be.

you need to test each map with rf to find a bad vpp map. I would test them in groups of 15.

1. take all your maps out of your multi folder.
2. chose 15 vpps and put them into your multi folder and then try to run that mode.
3. if it doesnt crash put 15 more vpps into your multi folder and run that mode again.
4 if it still doesnt crash repeat the process untill you cant run that mode.
5. once you get to that point the last 15 vpps do them 1 at a time to find which vpp crashes in that mode.

Also make sure you have that texture first it may save alot of time.

You'd better check thou. Some textures can be found in the VPPs in your single or multi folders. Check there is no corrupt files in those folders, too.
