Yeah, the title sums up what is going on with the ISS map you guys voted on ...

i got it very close to done, but to save build time i chopped it up and did it in separate levels to limit build time, then i peiced it together and tested it but RF flatlined on me, so i went back to red and it too flatlined on me when i rebuilt it ... ive got it all backed up before i combined it but ... im going to have to find a way to get rid of some faces ...

heres a pic of the russian part of the space station (about 1/3 of the map)



that just consists of 211 brushes, 4273 faces, 19143 face vertices ... i think i overdid it on face vertices

ohwell, i can cut a few corners here and there

i guess i just posted this so i could tell you guys its going to be a week or so untill i can get this cleaned up and posted

if its all solid brushes then try creating a group for it and making it a keyframe. If theres air brushes in it carve them out of the solid brush first, then make it a keyframe and it shouldn't crash anymore.

problem is most of the brushes are hallow ... each section has a inside air brush too ... i guess i could do it with some of the supports though, it does help cut it down some .

i was also thinking about some areas where i could replace two brushes for one ...

Can you get inside the satelite? If so, is it properly portalled? Limit what the editor has to render while you're working on it and add some portals...
