Ok, I have the over the minimum requirements, lots of space, etc, and my game is lagging like heck now. It was working just fine yesterday!  Any help is appreciated. Im sure not many people can help with a lag question. I have a good computer too.  I just wanna play with much less lag!  |

Make sure MP2 is running off HARDWARE instead of SOFTWARE in the start up menu. |

Hey guys, problem solved with a simple restart.  Thanks for the help though, Ill take those into consideration for the next times I am having trouble. By the way, Im new to the forums. Not new to the game, so Hi. |

I have a similar problem, everything runs perfect but sometimes the mouse slows down considerably, while the rest of the game doesn't. I have a touchpad mouse, is that the problem? |

You use touchpad to play Max Payne 2? Wow neato lol
You should try playing a FPS on a touchpad....i have a friend who plays Halo with a touchpad and he does headshots

Good for you, good to know that some people in this world are sane!
Anyway, any kid who plays a violent video game and then goes and drive bys people because "'Rockstar' told me to do it" was bloody unstable in the first place and watching the daily news or any schwartznegger/van damme/stalone film would have tipped the retard over the edge as well.
I think of them of a good way of venting frustration, it saves me doing it in the real world!
