hi every1. i need help getting music in my levels. if anyone could help me i would be very grateful.

1. Right click in some empty part of your level and click on "level properties".

2. Open "Audio" in that window and in the "Song" box type in the name of the .umx file you want, without the extension. So, as an example, if you wanted TheSong.umx then put "TheSong" in that box (without quotes).

Also, do NOT try to use the music browser; it used to work in the original Unreal, but now it just crashes the editor. The simplest way to "browse" is to play some random standard levels until you find a song you want to use, then open that map in the editor to see which .umx file it's using.

.umx ???? the default music is in .ogg format, you can also convert songs you like into .ogg to use in your levels. just hit F6 for level properties and in audio put the song minus the extention "somegenericsong"

Get "Audacity" just google it. it converts mp3 to OGG and WAV

You can use mp3 files from the ingame music browser, but I'm not sure if you can put them as the maps default song in the editor....
Just in case the conversion step can be fixed.

ooooorrrrrr you can do it the right way. my way. Ogg files can be used in the music browser and as a maps default music track
