RED-FROG, it may not relate to this topic but... i was wondering if you could add some vehicles to blasted canyon making it VCTF. i always thought that map would be great for VCTF. also, i reckon Warlords, and Nemisis, En Masse, Badlands, would all be great as VCTF maps. you would have to think of a place to put the flags in badlands, perhaps put in another fusion secret in the other side, and use them as the flag places (blasted open)
Badlands with alot of Raptors and mantas, and scorpions, and nemisis with scorpions, mantas, warlords with mantas and scorpions and perhaps a tank, en masse would be great with mantas and scorpions. maby a energy turret in the middle... and, blasted canyon would be mantas, hellbenders, and scorpions... |

Yeah I thought about that, too! I planned to create a larger outdoor area with terrain in the center of the map that connects both sides, so vehicles are able to drive around.
There are so many possibilities with Red Factions maps. I love the layouts on all of them.
But as you know I'm busy with the Simpsons mod now(u're too )
I've build one side of "The art of War". I want to create a Jailbreak map out of it. (and maybe later a CTF version as well )
Hermis is also done, got to do some stuff here and there. (The Manga was done for this map. It acts like the precicion rifle of RF..without reload  )

But it's against the copyrights (I think)
They are no longer making provit with this game. (I think its the opposite lol->masterserver)
And I'm using their textures, for another game, a more modern game.
If I was about to create a Red Faction mod without permission, I bet THQ would be about to take it down because of the copyrights.
It was their ideas and hard work. |

RED-FROG, it shouldnt take long to just add vehicles to blasted canyon, could you do that now? i wanna see it  i would do it for a test myself, but i dont know how to add vehicles, can you tell me? the map obvisly wont be released,... but, just for me as a test. i want vehicles in the map sooooo mcuh |

It's better with vehicles than without! believe me once you add some scorpions to it, youll never be able to play without them!
its a bit too small for anything other than scorpions sadly.. this is probably because it was not made for vehicles...
but, if you would make some RF maps in VCTF mode, that would be AWESOME!  |

Hey, did I give you permission to modify and publish my work without my knowledge At least you've not released the whole bunch of material, only this level file which is ok.  (you should have zipped it btw)
A scorpion can drive on such tight ways? I never thought about a vehicle implementation on BlastedCanyon because it's just "incompatible". (Most RF maps are. They have to be modified in some way.)
In "The Art of War" it would be exiting to use Raptors and tanks. Maybe I should not make a perfect copy of it. So I can build bigger ways for the vehicles and some indoor spots for snipers or something like that.

make sure you stick in scorpions and hellbenders. stick some turrets on the top in the middle. maby an Ion painter or target painter up where the super health is (on top of the roof in the middle) |
