ERm, its probably because you went there! ;-)
I assume ff means firefox, in which case click Tools->Options then select the privacy tab, go through there and clear out all your history and cookies from www.iluvtunisianbackpackers.de and www.wierd-twisted-redneck-sex.com |

You should read this:
Earl Euradere's Guide to Anti-Porn
Copied form Dr. ERE's Technical blog (ie I didn't write this, however I did change his blog entry so it wasn't full of unnecessarily complex words and technical definitions (as well as some perverted stuff. The Censored parts are of my own doing, as I thought that if I actually wrote it, Garner would TU me))
Pornography, for all the fun it is, is something we'd rather not let our parents find out about when they next log on the computer. Sure, we could stop looking at porn, but then we'd fail to give accolades to such people as Censored, that is just wrong and Again, that's just wrong . Further, with all the porn out there, and us not watching it, we "fall behind" others in the area of general skill. Further, by not watching porn, we might actually reverse millenia of objectification of the female form, which the porn industry relies on (because really, if everyone realized that its not only just wrong, but entirely disrespectful to people, all the little perverts would have nothing to watch. As such, they'd go out and try to fulfill fantasies on their own, which isn't spiffy as it leads to crimes. Of course, there's the argument that porn leads to these sick and twisted desires, however that's outside the scope of this article).
So, if the only way for society to continue to exist as it is, would be for porn to exist and be watched by people daily; we must safeguard our little hobby.
Now, the most difficult thing about watching porn is hiding the URL. Quite simply to get rid of this, go to Tools... Options (Internet Options for IE), then clear private data (FF) or "General" (tab), "Delete Cookies", "Delete Files" and "Clear History" (for IE).
Once this is done, look through the address bar. If your site's still there, you didn't do enough (just like the time you didn't do enough to secure that date with <female form>in High School, so you now spend every waking moment away from work by looking at porn). So, manually delete it by opening the bar (using the keyboard commands F4 for IE and Ctrl+L for FF), scrolling via the up/down arrows, and then pressing Shift+Delete when selected).
Now, you might have part of it done, but now you have to worry about spyware. Most porn sites load spyware onto your computer so they can see what you like (because even if it is immoral, they want to provide you the best experience possible ) and so they can use your computer for potentially illegal things (such as DDOS attacks, spamming, etc). So, to fix this up, download Spybot S&D and Ad-Aware Personal Edition (both are free). Update them, then run a full system scan . You might also want to update your AV software and run that too, just in case.
Now, you have the spyware gone and you deleted most traces of your visitation of the dubious sites. All you have to do is re-create all the sites you normally visit in the history (ie load the pages you normally visit so it doesn't look like you deleted everything to hide something). Once you're done, you just have to double-check everything and clear out any and all search bars (toolbars) you used to research the site (toolbar clearings vary by product. Check the documentation).
You may now enjoy a rather easy day while your parents shouldn't be able to easily find what you did (because even clearing all this doesn't delete it from the computer, it only removes the headers and pointers. Thus, the porn is still there, just sort of hidden). If you want more security, run Disk Clean up (programs ->accessories ->system tools), Scandisk (for non-XP: programs ->accessories ->system tools. For XP: My Computer, Local Drive C: (or whatever your hard drive is on), right-click that and go to Properties. Go to the Tools tab and under the Error Checking frame, click the Check Now command button), and finally run Disk Defragmentor (or your own defragmentation utility) a few times. Again, this won't completely remove it, but it should protect you from an unskilled user who is just reading their mail on the comp. Professionals will still be able to find out what you've been doing (so hope Mommy and Daddy aren't CS professors or get bored enough to hire one to check out what you've been doing).
Why it is there in the first place
back to my words
Back to a serious discussion:
It might be there because you have some spyware installed on your system. It could have hijacked your browser while you were away and the search bar (by middle one, I assume the Googlebar, which is generally a default toolbar installed with FF) just lists what was typed into it or any other search engine you used (ie typed in google.com and searched there. Googlebar integrates with google.com whenever you type something in, to "enhance your experience" by keeping a record of your searches).
So, download Spybot S&D and/or Ad-Aware Personal edition (both are free). Update them and your AV program then run a full system scan (because all take up a lot of system resources, you might want to do each of them separately , starting with Spybot, then your AV program, then Ad-Aware (in order of speed vs seriousness. Spybot is very fast, and viruses are a serious things so they'd be next in the list. Ad-Aware will clean up all that is next (and while it searches, it decompresses archives and hidden files (if you have it enabled, check the settings of AA first), which will allow your AV product to see the file as though it is loading (which it isn't, AA is just opening it in a sort of sandbox environment to scan it. However, knowing that there's a virus somewhere will inform you that more thorough scanning is needed with your AV product).
I believe that you never went to any porn sites, Pred.
cyrus5: CENSORED are those sites? Why does TunisianBackpackers have a german extension? The twisted redneck stuff is the sort of thing that happens every week at the local barn raisin' in the next town over (lol, country joke). You have some fairly strange hobbies.
Finally, the best porn in the world is to actually leave your computer for more than 5 minutes and strike up a conversation with a female person. Sure, it might be difficult, what with never seen an actual human in about 2 months, but you can do it. Also, after you talk them, they probably won't do anything for at least a year (if they are honorable) because your face is just that wrong. Still, while that year is ticking away, you can have fun with Roxanne Right (that's seriously just wrong); then have fun with an actual human (gasp!).
If you can't talk to someone (or don't want to wait a good long time because (in the words of UD) you're fugly), just hire someone. The major metropolis that is near me has some intriguing rates for lodbs, so if you have 5 usd and aren't afraid of diseases (yep, you'll basically be like a petri dish after the spend their 5 minutes on you), drive out to there (most people can surmise where I live. Not many US metropolises near Canada). If not, you'll have to go with your "fancier" lodbs that cost some 200 usd for something. |

Lol, I just made those sites up, they're not real.. As for the german domain, i dont know what the TLD is for tunisia and couldnt be bothered to look it up.
I think everyone has to get caught at least once ;-) I'ts all part of growing up! Though If I ever walked in on my kids in the years to come, I'd probably just start cracking up!! I'd probably mentally scar the blighters for years!!
Anyway the whole thing about going blind is an old wives tale! watching porn never did any harm look what a fine specimen of a man I am!

Install this little program:
SpywareBlaster 3.5.1
Quoting Description | SpywareBlaster doesn't scan and clean for spyware - it prevents it from ever being installed.
It's main features include:
- Prevent the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers, and other potentially unwanted pests.
- Block spyware/tracking cookies in Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox.
- Restrict the actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer.
SpywareBlaster can help keep your system spyware-free and secure, without interfering with the "good side" of the web. And unlike other programs, SpywareBlaster does not have to remain running in the background.
SpywareBlaster is freeware for personal and educational use.
This version adds improved updating with new Turbo-Update technology, various feature and protection enhancements, and various other bug fixes, tweaks, and optimizations.
Editors Note: If you receive an error that files are missing when starting SpywareBlaster, please download the Microsoft Visual Basic Run Time files. These files are required for any program that was coded in Visual Basic and are often not included to make the download small. If you have never downloaded a program that needed these files, you may not have them installed. Its a small, safe download and something you may need again later. |
It works with Fire Fox aswell! |

Vidi44, i think you should be a writer. I would never read your stories because they would be like 1 billion pages long, but those geeks that always spend thier free time in the library would. You would get a record for the longest book made, and if it was hardback, then it might be the heavist as well
If i end up on some dodgy site, it's fine with me as i have my own PC which means i can do whatever i want... from 6 till 11 (Step-dad says that i should go out more, but i can't be bothered... to lazy )
Oh, and if something slip throughs SpywareBlaster 3.5.1, download ewido. It is a anti-malware program that gives realtime protection against Hijackers and Spyware,
Worms, Dialers and Trojans and Keyloggers.
I have had this program for about 2 months now, and my PC has had no problems at all. The download is the full program, which lets you download updates, but expires after 14 days. You can still use it after then, but you cannot get updates. |

Technically, I am a writer, just no one knows me yet (joke of an egotistical person, "I'm famous, just no one knows it yet").
My blog is fairly popular, despite the fact that only some 60 people know of it. Of course, when I refer to my "blog", I refer to more than just the physical blog, but the half-dozen forums that I infrequently feature articles from it at (which, spiffily, will boost the discussion count of a forum moreso than the content that the site is dedicated to (although I make sure not to post anything on a forum that is unrelated to the forum's purpose. Case in point is the QB Messageboard. I only posted how I thought that sexism is ruining the programming world because someone asked the question, "where's all the female coders"?)). So, really I refer to about 8 or so places I stomp around at. To answer your question, yes, I sometimes consider L4Y to be a place within my blogsphere, as I do post my "essays" on it (sorry Garner, but when I get the itch to write, its there until its gone. You'll be happy to know that I have been redirecting my uber-essays away from L4Y as often as I could)).
As far as writing the world's longest book, I seriously am starting work on it. I often refer to it as Project: The Earl's Code, although I'll probably rename it something that isn't named after me (seems very egotistical to name your grand thesis on morality after yourself; especially when egotism is one of the things Project TEC is against).
Well, enough now; you've indulged my ego beyond what it was (although I hate folks who think greatly of themselves (which some would say, transversely means I'd hate myself because it appears I think highly of myself, although I don't (if you ever get bored enough to find my friends (whom I blog about so often that a quick google search would get them listed if you knew their names), ask them; I'm the hardest person on myself, worse than even the oft over zealous teachers I know of)), thanks). For those interested, I did indeed come off of an extended reading period of folks who link their blogs and stuff to mine, or generally think like I do. One of my favorite people is Mr. Paul Graham , who writes intriguing stuff about common events and how the world (should) work.
