The Evil Dead movies were great, I didn't add those to my list because I wasn't sure if people considered those "Zombie" movies. I always figured they were demons in the first two and plain skeletons (like Jason and the Argonauts) in the third.

But hey! if we're counting those as zombie flicks, its fine by me.

Also, Peter Jackson's Braindead/Dead Alive was good.

Shaun of the dead was brilliant, If you like that then try and get hold of the tv series that they (Simon Pegg and co) did on uk television, called Spaced. Its a nutty series, very funny, lots of references to other tv and films. Only ran for 2 series which was a shame, I suppose its marginally better to make to awesome series and stop with us wanting more than to do loads and have people hate it. Certainly highly recommended. Not sure if it would be so funny for an international audience.. a fair few uk specific references, had alot of fun conveying it to a couple of french guys here at work! Sorry gone OT a bit...

The peter jackson film was good, thats the one where he attacks them with the lawn mower, had the record for the largest amount of fake blood used in a film, iirc. Msm found me that one i think!

Idle hands is good too, another good parody! ooohh jessica alba...

You mean like the Simpsons and (to a lesser degree) Family Guy?

Yes, braindead's excellent. It's Skiprat's favorite zombie movie.

Simpsons passed their prime back around 1999/2000 (that's being generous) and Family Guy is doing the same thing, just at a much faster pace.

Anybody remember "Simpsons did it!" from South Park?

That hit the nail on the head, Simpsons have done everything. Although it may not be a "bad" show now, its nowhere near as funny as it was 15 years ago.

No its not, but its still helarious.
Family guy, i find just takes the simpsons material (mostly) and screws around with it making it stupider...

and, i dont watch south park so i wouldnt know...

Other people may have differnt opinions, and i respect that, but i still disagree with it.

I think that Futurama should of carried on and The Simpons stopped. Futurama was soo much better then The Simpsons!

And South Park is a great adult cartoon series.

Well as you said in your other post, everyone has different opinions on things.

But i prefer Futurama as the episodes were much funnier and intresting than The Simpsons.

yea, futurama has alot of potential... but when the simpsons first came out it had way more potential than futurama has (and probably ever will...)

As a whole, you can make a strong case. Simpsons is one of the best sitcoms ever created. BUT it is pretty hard to deny that it isn't as clever and original as it was in, say, the first ten years it came out. There comes a point where a show's creator needs to say "that's that," and move on. It's like an actress who was a sex symbol in her youth still trying to be sexy at age 50, give her an 'A' for effort and only that.

Futurama did the smart thing, whether it was due to lack of viewers or whatever. It started getting stale (especially focusing on the lame romance b/t Frye and Leela) and thus, it ceased to be. What remains is a show that stayed funny for its entire run; and i'd much rather have that than a show that screams "Hey, remember me?! I used to be funny! Please watch me!"
