Muhahahahahahahaha stupid cheater!!!
Why do people always call it modding??? Don't disgrace the category of modding (ex. ISM, Hive, Eco) with cheating (ex. fly through walls with rapid fire...well you know the deal  )

People call it/them modding/modders because what there running is considered a mod, although they are cheating its still a modification, so hence the name "Modder". Call it/them what you want. |

I call them modders cause thats the only thing ive heard them called ... and also they cant get mixed up Legit modders cant play in regular servers, so the only type of modders are cheaters. |

LMAO Ferrit. The amount of times I have participated in a "hunt".
I remember it sued to be almost a weekly or every other day occurence when me and Winnetou played together. We used to just go mental and frag only the modder.

HAHAHA good pic.
I have not playd redfaction for long but modders flying threw walls happens a lot. Need to make maps with instant kill zones outside normal parts of map so when they go threw walls they die.
Or have double layer walls so they can't see through them from other side. Make it harder for them to cheat. |

Modders are ok in my book just as long as they stay in modding servers (which won't happen). I like to whip out a few mods and go into some mod servers and own those modders, and check out what they have brewed up if anything new. |

Personally, I think there is a fine line between "modders" and "cheat modders". Such as a modder is someone using an altered HUD, etc. that doesn't affect original gameplay. Whereas a cheat modder uses altered files to allow them to have an unfair advantage over others.
But, that is just my personal preference of categorizing them.
Also, I think that if someone has to resort to cheat modding, then they just plain suck at playing the game without cheat(ing) mods, and don't feel they have the time to get better on their own. |

Hardly a fine line and i dont have a problem with modders (the cheating ones) as long as they stay to their own servers. However, when in v3 or another popular server it isnt so much the people using ghost or fly but the people using myth etc that tend to piss me off more.. least in most cases the ones that use fly arent trying to be discreet and are there for the sole reason to annoy people. But the people using myth etc often try to hide it and therefore portray themselves as good players.. |

i think it is a fine line ... for example skins, they may not be considered cheating if you changed them. but if you changed them to have really bright colors so you can see them better, that's clearly giving yourself an advantage outside of the game's normal boundries, which is cheating. 
... it can be a very insignificant mod and still give advantages. |
