I noticed that when I try to UV unwrap after am F7 session, the whole box where the texture and its grid points are is entirely green. Well thanks for the help there. I always wondered why...

yes... i dont know that either. its probably just a bug between RF and RED..

Well I just had an idea now.. perhaps it's something to with Direct3D?
don't shout at me if I'm wrong, it's just a suggestion. when I have 3DS MAX open and I'm modelling, say, a WW2 weapon, and I want to see it in more detail, I'd open COD2 and mess around with that particular weapon for a while.
When I come back, there's a message saying MAX lost Direct3D connection cos COD2 was using it.. usually it returns properly but sometimes I have to restart MAX for it to work properly..
My guess is that RED has a similar problem...
Back in RF... getting back into the swing of things!

I run my 3ds on OpenGL to avoid that little "bug"
i doubt if RED uses Direct3D anyway...
