Have you ever been banned for someone else using your name and skin so the can confuse the server and get you banned. it just happened to me. any sugestions? |

YES!
Server couldn't tell which one of us was cheating so he banned both!
Next day the ban was gone. Didn't know how to contact server anyway.
Maybe the server you were on has a website? |

Well i could tell it wasn't dedicated so i doubt it has a server website, or a contact.
The good news is my IP is dynamic, so every time I get banned, for whatever reason, right before it kicks me I always say,"I'll be back in a week or two".
This time I didn't do it because it was an accedent to ban me, but other servers, I won't say which so I don't start a server rant thread, I do it to for using the hmg to make 4-5 kills in a row because of headshots. After I get banned I usally find another server, and life goes on, but this case was differant, I was wandering if anybody had any ideas on how to keep cheaters from getting innocent players banned. |

I've been told that some cheaters have used my name and they had to ban them. I tell them all the same, if he is cheating then it's not me so go ahead and ban them. 
But I see your problem, what you should have done was leave the server so the real cheater would have stayed behind and got banned instead of you.  |

Oh yea its happened to me, well not me but my name. Apparently some modder with my name got banned from have fun. Its good to know i have a fan club  |

Well i was banned once from the Have Fun server in the badlands level.One guy was trying to blow the bridge and i killed him because if he blows the brigde my team mates will fall to their death but guess what?The short temperd stupid player banned me
I have been accused of modding because of my crappy pc.The glitches were me moving fast and then slow and avoiding rockets[My skill not glitch or mod  ] Luckily Hapa was there to back me up  |

Seems kind of strange... So, you know you're about to get banned? Why not just leave and avoid the ban. Your parting statement makes it sound like the banning was justified. |

someone, with the same mod, cam used once is going in to the servers with the name Agent X/Mad Ferrit/Ghostkid and NoClanFrank...hes using that server jamming mod...really annoying |

Just like LSF, I apparantly have a fan club (lol). For about a week straight, some group of noobs decided to track me down, get in the same server, and switch to my name and skin. It was hilarious because these noobs were literally noobs (couldn't even dodge a fusion! (lol, that was a joke) Seriously, though, these people had only something like 5 kills, when I had easily 200 kills after half an hour, and they couldn't play to save their non-existant lives). So, while I did have fun with my ego inflating, and with schooling noobs, it wasn't fun to be banned from some of my favorite servers. Fortunately (for me, not the server), a massive storm in (I think England) knocked the power out, resetting the computers, so the ban list was erased (yay!).
Like the others, I've also been banned for having entirely too much skill. I recall the very first time I played RF, and was banned for getting something like 300 kills in a dm match against so-called "skilled" players. Call it noob-luck or whatnot, but considering that I didn't know about any RF sites and had no contact with anyone who played RF (except the guy who burned it for me, who is 110% anti-modder), how could I have modded? Then, as we all know, about two weeks later, this diminuative human named Zilah came in, and since that day I can't play as well (can still get a good 100 kills, if the server runs for an hour or two ).
As far as being banned for anything that was my fault (we'll count having too much skill as my fault), it was only about 5 times, and only in servers operated by morons who can't tell the difference between someone good (and worthy to get in their clan, or at least befriend), and a modder. |

If you got 300 kills in a DM match you deserve to be banned most you can possibly get is 130 lol |

yeah, had it happen to me twice ... back in the days when i ran with a different name. Ticks you off when someone rips off your name  .
Don't think they were modding though ... they just took it  .
modders are relatively easy to distinguish between players. you can always un-mistakeably tell if a person is a modder or not by the way their gun sounds or the way they move.
hehe, i remember playing in the Installation map and seeing a modder flying around outside, taunting me. we stood there looking at each other for about 3 secs ... then i pulled out the rail and put a hole in him, LOL. |

Ok then you have a modder in a server. You open the console and get rcon. If you have lazyban it's easy you just type ban and a list of players comes up.
