Some of you know my oldest cat named Baby and some of you may not. We rescued her from the humane society back in 1991 after she had her tail ripped off from a fan belt in a truck. (She was a wild cat at that time) The humane society perfomed surgery to heal her wounds but she would never have a tail again.
Because of this, nobody wanted her and she was going to be put to sleep! My brother gave her a home to live in and be amongst us great people! We fell in love with her right away, she was so cute and eventually all her fur came back and she was normal as she used to be accept no tail and domesticated. We have had her for 15 years and she has lived a great life!
Recently within the last couple years she developed a kidney infection and bladder infection, we got her on meds to heal the infection. We believed it worked but we got to it a little late as this last year for her has been stressful but "not painful."
Even more recently this month, she has lossed alot of body fat, she walks very slow, stumbles on her back feet/walking funny, and her meow sounds like she is sick. She is drinking alot of watter but she is not eating like she should! She sleeps most of the time and we have to help her get into the cat box right or she will pee outside the box because she thinks she is all the way in when she is not!
John and I both agree that she is probably not going to live for another month if that, we are going to take her into the doctor ASAP, it sounds like to me that we might have to put her to sleep. However, even though this action breaks my heart, I do not want to see her in pain. This family has been through alot of deaths, adding more is not a fun thing to go through believe me.
I love Baby so much and you would too |

Awww man, sorry to hear that... I love cats. It's always sad to lose a pet / friend that's been with you for so long and if she could talk I'm sure she'd be thanking you for the 15 years of companionship and looking after Don't let her suffer man, if she is in pain do the humane thing, and she will soon be in a better place |

Thankyou Mr. Ferrit so much for your thoughts, I really do appreciate them in times like this.
I have been worrying alot about her, I was not able to sleep last night and I finnaly got to sleep around 11PM and slept till 5PM. Still not all my sleep but at least I got some.
It is very hard to loose a loved one that has been with you for so long. I must admit that even though I am used to it, its still hard to deal with it from time to time. I lost my mom and dad both in 2002, then I lost my best friend that lived next to us in 2003. |

Whoa u lost ur parents in 2002? .....i feel sry for u now....
I cant believe your cat lived that long!!! My cat lived for like maybe 5 or 6 years and was growing old to be able to do anything. I had about 7 kittens since my cat always went out to mate lol. Yea her name was Mother Cat lol. My other 8 kittens are Old Man Winter, Whiskers, Nightcrawler, Hercules, Terminator, and thats all I can remember. 1 of them was eaten at birth lol. 1 of them was given away and I cant remember my other kitten's name but he was my favorite one |

My cat named Baby passed on this morning at 5AM. My brother was awake with her the entire morning. No wonder why I am having such a bad day today, I did not get to be with her when she died. Oh well, this is going to take a while to get over it none the less. |
