i have a problem with my rf i was playing with a few friend on their server and my rf crached so i thought grr and it keeps doing it and i tried making a server and all my maps crach even the lobby and the ones that come with rf i tried joining a server the map was warlords ctf and my rf crached i keep trying it and it wont work can any one help? |

Copy out your custom maps and stuff, uninstall and then reinstall RF. Should fix the problem. Also, there's a config file I think you can delete, which will recreate itself. Can anyone confirm that? |

after it crashes duz it give u a message? like sumthing about direct x 8 or sumthing. If not are u using lazyban or another shortcut to rf? |

File is called players.cfg and its in the Main RF folder. |

no it gives me no message and i joined goober's server yesterday i had to do it 2 times tho to make it work =( any way this topic will probaly be closed so email me email here and ty i wil get rid of that file  |

Do you have any custom weapons?
Goober sent me a PM some weeks ago, he was asking why RF crashes on his computer.
He thinks the P90 crashes the game, but he wasn't sure. (I think he already forgot about that)
The game can crash when theres an custom animation (for a custom model) missing.
I forgot to add the special idle animations on some weapons, but re-uploaded the fixed versions.
I'm not sure if all weapons have these idle animations now.  (but they should)
The problem is you'll usually don't notice this error when you are playing because these idle animations will only be used when you stop moving. (for chatting for example) And it's hard to find the problem when that happens.
I should check all client side weapons.
That's only a guess, perhaps theres something else that crashes the game. A new driver perhaps? |

no i didnt forget about it, the only reason that i didnt get back to you was, i tryed with all the them on their own, no problems... but when they are all together then theres a problem  |

Correct me if I'm wrong but if you have two or more client side mods which take up the same weapon slot, when you switch to that weapon, the game crashes. |

yea all my weapons are custom that u made except rail driver =( lol but i think it was cuz i didnt let my pc have a little rest i was on it all day that day lol any way it seems to not do it as much now  |

ok,my rf has been crash'n randomly latly also..I have reds hammer and gift wraped c4..?if this is the prob.I should re D/L'em??drives me crazy when it crashes!!!!arrrrrg!  |

I have all of them but none make the game crash except the pistol in the admin and doctor missions of RF sp.Maybe you have some custom models like the Eko Charecters? |
